I am SO excited to tell you all about the nifty new product I got in the mail last week! I present to you…. Give a Dog a Bone’s custom hand-carved stamp!
Seriously, how cool is that?! The best part about this is that YOU can get a custom stamp made of your pet, or even of yourself!
Cynthia Cao is the owner of Lucky Stamp Shop – an online Etsy store- and the creator of these amazing works of art.
I contacted Cynthia about the possibility of making a logo stamp that I can use to stamp Christmas cards, Thank You letters, etc. (Take a second to check out our blog logo and compare it to this awesome stamp!) Nothing could have prepared me for the awesomeness I was about to experience.
It was evident early on that Cynthia takes great pride in her work, and is very dedicated to making her customers happy. Throughout the planning process, Cynthia would send me her sketches and ideas so that I could have the final say on the design. When I finally received the stamp in the mail I was pleasantly surprised to find that she had hand-wrapped the stamp, included a free fade-resistant ink pad, and a cute little paw stamp along with hand-written instructions on how to care for my new treasures. So thoughtful!
Her attention to detail really makes her creations come to life. Once you send her a picture of what you’d like her to make a stamp of, she sketches out a plan, and emails it to you so you can tweak it to your liking. Once you’re satisfied, she carefully and painstakingly hand carves the stamp and then mounts it to a sturdy wooden base. Not only does she create amazing pet portrait stamps, but she also makes stamps of couples! Now, wouldn’t those be perfect for stamping Save-The-Date wedding envelopes? So cute!
You could use your stamp to make your own custom wrapping paper, holiday cards, gift tags…Or you could do what we did and use it as your pet’s signature on cards!
The possibilities are endless!
For the level of detail, customization, and superior customer service involved, her stamps are very fairly priced at between $15 and $80 dollars. I am very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend that you go check out her store on Etsy!
